Cluis liegt am Fluss Auzon. Nachbargemeinden sind Gournay im Norden, Mouhers im Nordosten, Saint-Denis-de-Jouhet im Osten, La Buxerette im Südosten, Montchevrier im Süden, Orsennes im Südwesten, und Maillet im Westen.
